Families and Community Groups

What is one of the BEST things you can give to a Mom?  I'm sure you already know this - support.  (gift certificates for clothes, and spa days coming in at a close second, of course).  When I first moved to the area, I quickly realized that I needed some Mom friends I could relate to.  People with a sense of humor, who could teach me things, who wouldn't judge me if I let my toddler out in public with his alien-hat-and-bear-slippers-combo on.  Almost immediately I found my nearest Mom oriented MeetUp Group (which happens to be MOMs Club of Anderson, 'holla!').  I can't even tell you what a blessing this group has been for me.  I'd be lost, LOST without them!  Do yourself a favor and join a group, build a community for you and your family.  Your sanity will thank you.

Here are just a few of the family oriented clubs out there:

Newcomer Club
MOMS Club of Anderson SC
